Climate Justice at Eastwood

Jack visited Our Lady of Good Counsel Parish, Eastwood in October to talk to the parishioners about his recent trip to Bangladesh and climate change.

Invited by Liz Doona, Jack spoke of how the climate change talks in Copenhagen in December will be vital for the developing countries in our world and how they are affected. The parishioners signed climate justice cards at the back of church, and the younger members of the parish drew round their hands on the climate banner which was placed at the front of the church.

Liz Doona, parish contact said that climate change is an issue not just for us, but most importantly for our children and grand-children.

If you want to get involved with the CAFOD Climate Justice campaign then there is still time; just go to www.cafod.org.uk/climatejustice for videos and what CAFOD is calling for.
